Male Allen's Hummingbird

A male Allen's Hummingbird defending breeding territory. The arboretum had a high densilty of male Allen's, perhaps twenty. We chose to film here in late April to miss the Rufous Hummingbirds that had already migrated through, yet still capture the male Allen's engaged in display flights.
